I think I can say I closed out 2003 properly. Between my brother-in-law and I, we blew up at least a couple hundred dollars worth of fireworks, feasted on a wide variety of local/Filipino style food, and I drank a generous amount of beer. All the kids pulled through with fingers and eyeballs intact, and I woke up feeling great, so I'm calling the night a success.
I made a resolution a few years ago not to make any more new year resolutions. So far I've kept it. I do, however, set goals. One of them is to post at least once a week to this blog.
As for a predictions – I think there will be a big find of some sort concerning WMDs in Iraq – although not enough to shut the mouths of the opposition.
That's about it for this first post of 2004. I have leftover champagne to drink, and nothing to do or anywhere to go on a rainy New Year day.
